Dinosaur News #169 (December 2023) by Albertonykus, journal

The year 2023 is coming to a close, and while there have been numerous interesting finds, as far as exciting, newly erected taxa go, this has been a rather slow year, so it's pretty easy to list the best finds for some of the main amniote lineages in paleontology. For pseudosuchians, we have Dentaneosuchus, a huge sebecid from the Bartonian of Europe, around 40 mya, a surprisingly large and late-surviving reptilian predator to be found in this part of the world. As far as dinosaurs go, the most interesting find actually comes from the Pleistocene, that being Dynatoaetus, a large accipitrid comparable in size to the Haast eagle that patrolled the skies of Australia. Marsupial lions, 20-foot varanids and 10-foot land crocs, now we can add a giant raptor to the predator guild of ice age Australia. For pterosaurs, we have Lusognathus, one of several recent finds that expands the size range for Late Jurassic pterosaurs, a ctenochasmatid with a 12-foot wingspan, surpassing even the
My Bio

The Prehistoric Dark Lord of the Sith welcomes you, visitor.

I love everything related to nature, especially animals, extinct or not. I have a great interest in art (otherwise I would not be here).

I am also a huge Star Wars fan. Revenge of the Sith, the apotheosis of the saga, is my favourite movie. My own true Sith Lord nature is a well-kept secret. Very few people know about the prodigious extent of my powers.

I speak French (my native language), English, a little Spanish and Huttese.

Your drawings will make fine additions to my collections.

Hello to you my watchers,    My internship at the Caune de l'Arago, a Lower Paleolithic site located near Tautavel (France), has started for about ten days and isn't over yet. But this saturday I came back home and I can now write a few words. I'm really spending a great time there. I'm living an awesome experience. I have learnt much and I have been trained well. I discovered all the activities of the site : the excavations, verifications, washing-marking of the coordinated objects and the sieving and sorting for the non-coordinated ones. I found and coordinated around 100 industries (material which was worked by prehistoric humans) in

Alright. Here's the challenge. Name 30 dinosaurs that doesn't have an "s" at the end. For example, the dinosaur Velociraptor. It's a dinosaur and it doesn't have an "s" at the end. And there is one more rule. You are prohibited to name dinosaurs that existed during the Cenozoic through present. For example, the dinosaur Kelenken. Even though it's a dinosaur that doesn't end with an "s," it still appeared during the Cenozoic era. You can ONLY use dinosaurs that appeared during the Mesozoic era. Please post this challenge along with the rules in the Deviantart journal, and credit me for coming up with this challenge. (You don't have to post

Are you open for requests?

Depends on the request.

Besides, I am quite busy these days and completing the request could take time.

Think you can do Dinosaur planet’s einiosaurus?

Einiosaurus? Sure! Perhaps I will take some liberties from the DP version though. Anyway, it is on the to-do list now.

You also heart of Planet Dinosaur 2011?

Yes! A good point about this series is the fact that it shows the fossils from which scientific interpretations are drawn.

Imagine the Spinosaurud fights the WWD T-Rex.
